Confetti Christmas Nightmare Line Up
It’s almost December, we’re half way between Halloween and Christmas, so what better time to get hyped about the Confetti Christmas Nightmare Social! We’ve got the line up ready and we’re super hyped to announce that Ca$h Mun€¥, members of one of Nottingham’s best loved bands D.I.D (Joss and Trev) will be headlining! So, with the year coming to a close, we want to find out YOUR best Confetti moments from 2016! Maybe it was being backstage at Splendour Festival; directing the music video for a breakthrough artist; or even meeting Ian Livingstone, co-founder of iconic games company Games Workshop, at Industry Week. What did you gain from GameCity Festival?
Picture by Zach Ryall Nottingham’s world-renowned video game festival - GameCity - returned to The National Videogame Arcade on the 26th – 29th October for its 11th edition and it didn’t disappoint! Guest speakers from world-renowned games companies provided an insight into the industry and leading developers showcased their work across the Creative Quarter. The festival not only provided entertainment and knowledge, but also opportunities – from volunteering to networking and we heard directly from our students what they got up to. If you’ve been anywhere near social media in the last month you’re bound to have come across the Mannequin Challenge and there have been some pretty good ones. But Live & Technical Events student Lewis Jones and tutor Rob Baldock have just won the Mannequin Challenge because they’ve featured in one created by Emeli Sandé and Trevor Nelson! Fancy Playing At The Rescue Rooms?
We’re looking for a Confetti artist or band to open the stage at the Confetti Christmas Nightmare social. Whether you're an acoustic solo artist, full band or DJ we’re throwing it open to any Confetti student to take the stage and show off their talents at Rescue Rooms. Have you started applying for UCAS?

Based in Nottingham, Lockwood is a highly successful online publishing studio specialising in social games, virtual worlds and desirable virtual items. Stay safe around Confetti
Studying at Confetti means you get to use the latest technology and equipment. So we’re always making sure we provide you with the best facilities, this means that sometimes you’ll have sessions outside of the Confetti campus. This could be in our new facility – Space 2, The National Videogame Arcade or even rehearsal studios Magnet.
