Confetti HQ is packed with the latest creative hardware and software for our media and games courses. It’s also where you can relax between sessions and get a bite to eat in our student café.
The five-storey building is the heart of the Confetti campus, and is home to more than 2,000 creative technologies students. It features professional studios, labs, a motion capture suite, classroom facilities and Mac computer suites. Industry-standard software and hardware is also available for you to use throughout your course, including:
- Industry spec Workstation PCs
- Specialist software including Unreal Engine 4, Autodesk suite (3DS Max, Maya, Mudbox), Adobe Creative Suite, ZBrush, Quixel 2.0, Renderman and After Effects
- Wacom Cintiq 13 HD Touch Tablets
- Motion capture suite with OptiTrack technology
The space is equipped with virtual and augmented reality hardware and software too, so you can benefit from putting your learning into practice.
Complementing our teaching spaces, Confetti HQ is also home to our Learning Resource Centre, a contemporary café, and an outdoor courtyard fully accessible to all students to enjoy. What’s more, it’s also home to Notts TV – a regional commercial station where our TV and Film Production students get the chance to ‘Do it for Real’ through work experience.

If you’re a Film or TV Production Technology degree student studying at Confetti, you’ll have the chance to work on regional commercial station, Notts TV.
As well as gaining valuable experience in live broadcasting and production, you’ll also gain IMDb credits – meaning you’ll leave with a professional portfolio.
