What makes me a fee payer?

If you’re 19 years or older without an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP), or if you’re applying for a course at a level you’ve already attained, you’d be classified as a fee payer. Additionally, if you’re undertaking a course lasting more than one year and you turn 19 during its duration, you may also be responsible for fees

How much are the course fees?

Course fees are subject to change year on year.

For the academic year 2024/25, fees have been confirmed to be £1,250 per year. Fees are payable at enrolment, for each course you sign up for. All of our courses are £1,250 per year (Level 1, 2 and 3). Fees are reviewed each academic year and are subject to change.

How do I pay my fees?

Fees are broken down into two payments.

The first instalment of £625 will need to be paid at your enrolment date, you will not be able to enrol without this deposit being made

A second payment of £625 will be due by Friday 18 October 2024. If there are any concerns in making this second payment, please contact Student Services

Is there any fee remittance, grants or bursaries?

Unfortunately, we do not offer any bursaries or grants for private fee paying students.

There is also no remittance of fees, regardless of benefit entitlement. Confetti doesn’t accept the Advance Learner Loan.

What bursaries are available?

Bursary applications are available for students 16-18 years old and for those students who have of an EHCP.

Bursary applications are assessed in the order we receive them and during busy times, (especially at the start of the academic year) bursary applications can take up to 4 weeks to process

Will I be reimbursed for travel and/or meal costs incurred during the assessment period?

Students are expected to fund their own travel and meals during this time. We cannot refund or backpay any costs incurred.

How can I request a bursary?

You can request a bursary form via email- bursary.applications@confetti.ac.uk

Bursary Applications will be available from Summer 2024 and you cannot apply for a bursary until you are fully enrolled

Incomplete bursary forms and insufficient evidence will delay the award, so please ensure it is completed in full

Am I eligible?

  • You must be fully enrolled
  • You must have a household income below our award threshold (NET inclusive of benefits, employment and pension)
  • You must live 1.7 miles or more from Confetti

What you are awarded (travel, meals, vulnerable students allowance) will depend on eligibility

How will I be notified of the outcome?

You will be contacted via your Confetti email address with the outcome of your bursary application. This will detail what have you been awarded, how to claim the award and when awards will be made. This will be within 4 weeks of when you submitted your application.

Parents and Carers will also receive notification.

If you have any further questions, please contact studentservices@confetti.ac.uk who will be able to assist you.
