Confetti students are the new ‘voice of the network’

Nottingham City Transport has enlisted the help of our students to become the voices of its new on-board audio announcements. And it was their sense of humour as well as their vocal skills the city’s award-winning bus operator was after… With 75% of the buses across the fleet having on-board announcements – NCT have decided to add a touch of humour to their recordings.   The Student Microfilm Awards took place on the 19th of October, as part of NIMFEST, and Confetti students were winners!   On 9th July, our FE students will celebrate their successes in a demonstration of their work. Between 3-7pm at Confetti on Convent Street in Nottingham, we’ll show off the brightest and best creative talent that Nottingham has to offer. Confetti teams up with Splendour Festival 2015!

Confetti are proud to announce we will once again have a stage at this year’s Splendour Festival following the huge success of last summer’s celebration in Wollaton Park. Confetti students and staff will be among thousands due to attend this year’s Splendour on Saturday 18th July. Our students are preparing to work around the clock to make sure the stages are set for some of the world’s biggest names in music including the likes of The Specials, Bananarama, Jess Glynne, Lawson and Roots Manuva. Confetti students work Young Creative Awards

A showcase event for Nottingham’s Young Creative Awards 2015 is to be staged in the newly revamped Trinity Square on Friday 24th October. And our BTEC Level 3 Technical Events students couldn’t be more involved, providing all the tech and set up for the event. The awards, sponsored by Confetti Media Group, offer young people the opportunity to take part in a citywide creative competition, and win a mixture of cash and other prizes, such as mentoring opportunities and work experience which will enable them to further their creative industry careers. From today’s Barburrito takeover in the student café to the ever-growing list of brands we’re working with, it’s safe to say #Fresh14 is the best freshers event yet… and we’ve hardly started. Everyone from HMV to Ratchet clothing is clamouring to bag a space at our HE pop-up festival or advertise in our student guide, because, quite frankly, they know you’re the coolest people around.
