This December, we’ll be hosting the Winter Finals of the Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports UK and Ireland competition in our esports facilities. Expect lots of opportunities to Do It For Real!
Organised by our friends at NUEL, the Winter Finals of the Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports UK and Ireland will take place live and in-person at Confetti X, and will feature the playoffs of the winter League of Legends, VALORANT, and Rocket League tournaments. These finals will also serve as the qualifiers for the Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports Masters, with teams competing to represent Great Britain in the prestigious pan-European event in 2023.
Here’s the schedule:
Friday 9 December – Rocket League lower bracket final and grand final.
Saturday 10 December – League of Legends and VALORANT grand finals.
We recently announced our game-changing new partnership with NUEL and their international partner, GG Tech, a move that is bringing major university esports tournaments like The Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports UK and Ireland to our esports facilities.
The Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports UK and Ireland is a competition open to all university students, with over 7,800 players from more than 100 universities taking part in the competition last year. In addition to providing finalists with a great experience of competitive play in our state-of-the-art arena, Confetti X, our students will be involved in planning and running the event, on courses ranging from Live and Technical Events and Esports Production, to many more!
