The Government has announced Nottingham will return to Tier 3 after the national lockdown ends on Wednesday 2 December.

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire will be moving back into Tier 3 following the national lockdown is lifted on Wednesday 2 December. The city and county will remain under this tier until Wednesday 16 December when the Government will review them once again.

Tier 3 means:

  • Retail stores will be able to reopen but there will be restrictions on the hospitality sector.
  • Venues must remain closed to the public but can serve takeaway, and click-and-collect products.
  • Social gatherings indoors are not permitted unless with those within your support bubble.
  • Social gatherings are only permitted in public outdoor spaces, not private gardens, and only six people or less can meet.

How does this affect Confetti?

Our students will be continuing with the teaching plans laid out, which see our degree students moving to fully online teaching between Friday 4 and Wednesday 9 December, and college-level students continuing with both face-to-face and online sessions until the end of term.
