Josh Wheatley releases his single ‘Best of Me’

Josh Wheatley

Former Confetti student Josh Wheatley has today released his first single – Best of Me. Managed by Denizen Recordings’ Spencer Wells, Josh showed true talent from early on during his time at Confetti; and now he’s taken the first big step towards a bright career in the music industry.

Citing his early influences as bands like Death Cab for Cutie, Josh now draws inspiration from the music of Imogen Heap, as well as his musical heros Post Malone and the 1975.  With what can only be described as a highly visceral sound, Josh’s music is powerful and set to be a real hit.

John Kennedy of Radio X said of Josh “He’s got a very bright future…the kind of thing you could hear across radios around the globe”, while Clash Magazine also spoke of his talents:

“A songwriter with real passion and conviction…brooding, subtle, under-stated.”

With the single dropping today, Thursday 7 March 2019, we look forward to seeing how the song fares.

Why not have a listen yourself? The single can be found on Spotify now!

“He’s got a very bright future…the kind of thing you could hear across radios around the globe.”

We wish Josh the best of luck with his musical career, and it’s safe to say we will have ‘Best of Me’ on repeat for the next few weeks…
