Confetti FE students brought the year to a close in spectacular style yesterday, as they showcased all their hard work to parents, family and friends. Over 100 people attended the ‘Celebrate’ event, coming to have a look around, talk to students about their work and see first-hand, work across gaming, TV & Film and Music. Phil Myers, Head of Further Education for Confetti, said: “We had such fantastic feedback. Visitors were blown away by the quality of the work.” Colin Huthwaite is a BTEC Level 3 Technical Events student and demonstrated some of his work in Confetti’s Electric Mayhem studio. …

Next week FE students will celebrate their successes in a demonstration of their work. Between 3-7pm at Confetti on Convent Street in Nottingham, we will show off the brightest and best creative talent that Nottingham has to offer. With everything from music courses to gaming and visual effects on show, the event is not to be missed. Confetti Degree Showcase 2013 finished on a high yesterday as winners of multiple awards were announced at the Showcase Awards Ceremony in the Antenna Bar and Restaurant. The Showcase event started at 3pm at Confetti ICT, where Higher Education students had the chance to showcase their talent and their projects produced throughout the year. The turnout this year was fantastic! Families and friends came to support and enjoy their work as well as other education establishments and industry  eagerly scouting for potential.
