Gareth Jones – a music producer and engineer notable for working with Depeche Mode, Erasure, Indochine and Interpol – has been doing mixing masterclasses with our Audio and Music Technology students.
We’re delighted to announce that the new OptiTrack Motion Capture Suite has been installed in our 37m² Green Screen studio at our Film and TV hub Space 2.
Our FdSc Audio and Music Technology students moved their recording sessions into Studio 2 and made full use out of the live room, vocal booth, editing suite and control room.
On Saturday 21 July, Nottingham’s biggest live music event Splendour Festival returns to Wollaton Park for the 10th year and we’re excited to once again be a part of it!

While many of you enjoyed the Christmas holidays and New Year, the construction of our Digital Media Hub has stayed very much on track and has become a fantastic structure in such a short space of time.

Last Monday our Level 3 Technical Events students ran a fantastic Christmas Party at Rescue Rooms.
