We are looking forward to Saturday 3 July when Confetti hosts the BEA Student Champs Final at Metronome. Schools and Colleges from across the country will be playing a series of matches in an effort to be crowned League of Legends, Overwatch and Rocket League champions.
The finals will give student teams the experience of performing on stage to a live (and socially distanced) audience, as well as to thousands more online viewers via the British Esports Twitch channel. As with many Metronome events, Confetti’s student ambassadors and technical and event crews are on hand to ensure the day runs smoothly.
The packed schedule features the FIFA Xbox/National Star College Showmatch at 10.15am and offers the chance to hear from a number of keynote speakers, including Confetti’s Head of Esports Gin Rai.
As well as the official tournaments there will be other activities to get involved with – some of which include a photo wall, table tennis, sim racing ‘fastest laps’ with Williams Esports and mini-arcade game modes (such as Lucio Surf and 1v1 League of Legends) with NUEL.
The event will follow current government guidelines and restrictions, with the safety of attendees being paramount. Tune in and watch all the drama unfold, live from 10am on the British Esports Twitch channel.
