Confetti students triumph at Young Creative Awards

Wednesday June 23, 2021

2021 saw the return of the Young Creative Awards, and our students won and were highly commended for awards in the Visual Arts, Animation & Digital Media, Creative Writing, Graphic Design and Music categories.

Each year the Young Creative Awards are celebrated with an inspirational awards night, buzzing with the passion, talent and imagination of young people. It proved once again to be a great opportunity for young creatives to showcase their work, and to meet other creative people and businesses from the city.

Overall Confetti students have submitted an impressive 34 pieces of work into this year’s Young Creative Awards.

Alison Whitlock, Head of Talent Development at Confetti, spoke about the awards:

I’m proud to see so many Confetti students’ creative talents being recognised in such a broad range of categories in this year’s Young Creative Awards.

Thanks to all Confetti students who submitted their work in such a challenging year.  Well done to those students who were highly commended and of course,  huge congratulations to the winners.

You’ve demonstrated great creative talent and the YCA has recognised this.  I hope this success will inspire you to accomplish even greater achievements in the creative industries in the future”.
