Confetti Student Christmas Party 2020

On Wednesday 16 December, our Level 3 Technical Events and Film and TV Production students hosted our first ever live-streamed Christmas party from our music and live events hub – Metronome.

All our students had an amazing time whether in Metronome or watching from the comfort of their own homes. We enjoyed performances from students JED and Alice Lynn and headliner Saint Raymond (we hope you danced like nobody was watching, literally!)

2020 has been a difficult year for the live events industry, so our students have put their skills to good use and also managed to raise £200 for the Backup Charity – an amazing technical entertainment charity.

If you’d like to make a donation, there’s still time, visit our fundraising page.

Winter wonderland

Here at Confetti we love a theme and this year was no exception, going for a classic with our ‘Sounds of the Season’ winter wonderland.

Our performances

No party is complete without some great live music – and at this party we didn’t hold back! Our amazing headliner Saint Raymond pulled out all the stops with a fantastic performance that saw everyone singing along not just in the studio but from home as well. Four Four DJs kept us entertained with Christmas classics and some great tunes in between sets.

We also got some our very own talented musicians involved, with Confetti students JED and Alice Lynn also performing and lifting our spirits ready for Christmas and the New Year!

We loved interacting with you through our social media, we thought we would share some of the highlights from the evening!

Prize Winner

We had a great time interacting with our students on socials, so we thought we would give a student the chance to win a £30 Amazon voucher! All the students had to do was show us their best Christmas outfit of the night. It was so hard to choose the best one…

Our winner is…Daniel Rigley. Congratulations!

We want to say a massive thank you, congratulations and well done to our Technical Events and Film and TV Production students who’ve worked so hard to put on this event. Here’s to next year’s event!

This is one example of our Do it for Real motto, where our students crew, produce and perform at real life events, gaining hands on experience in their chosen field.
