Confetti Photography Club: what you need to know

Confetti Photography Club, part of Confetti Community, is for any student wanting to learn about/have fun with photography!

Concept: Every two weeks you’ll be given a theme on Instagram. Once a month, we plan to have meetups for you to discuss tips, hints, inspiration, experience, challenges, techniques, equipment and anything related to the theme.

Opportunities: Winning work from the themed tasks will get the chance to be promoted on Confetti social and screens, as well as on the walls in Confetti HQ. All work will be posted on a new Confetti Photography Instagram account. You’ll also get chances to work as official photographers at Confetti and Metronome events.

The next meetup for the 2020/21 year is yet to be agreed but will be communicated to students in due course.

The theme is Photoshop for Beginners, but experienced students can still come and get involved, Please can students bring along a well-lit, forward facing photograph of themselves to use to edit with (NOT a selfie!).

We will share details of how to sign up in due course.

Current Theme: Find out on @ConfettiPhotography Instagram – before the meetup, you’re encouraged to post your images to Instagram that represent this great city with the hashtag #ConfettiPOTW.

The best way to celebrate your photography is through monthly online photo challenge competitions, encouraging and boosting passionate photographers to show off their work. To join in and enter, just post your photos on Instagram with #ConfettiPOTW.
