Darius Khwaja
Campus Director
Alongside his career as an accomplished musician, Darius has lots of experience leading specialist music higher education. He co-founded London Centre of Contemporary Music (LCCM), which he ran for 17 years, and launched the first-ever combined degree in Music Performance and Music Production. Find out more

Dr Simon Das
Head of Academic Studies
Simon, a Senior Fellow of Advance HE, brings extensive experience from leading departments at UAL’s Media School and UCA’s Business School. With 15 years in teaching and research, he specialises in media management, holding a PhD.

Glenn Middleditch
Head of Campus Operations
Glenn is an experienced professional with a career spanning BBC broadcasting, event management, music production, and DJ’ing. His career highlights include live broadcasts from Afghanistan, producing at the British Grand Prix, and creating his own festival.

Richard Brook
Senior Course Leader
Richard has over 30 years of experience as a freelance drummer, musical director, and educator. His journey encompasses sessions for top artists and theatre productions, contributing to production planning, and performing at major music festivals.

Wayne Urquhart
Senior Lecturer
An accomplished cellist, composer, and audio engineer, Wayne holds over 20 years experience in the entertainment industries. He excels in sound design, editing, voice recording, and music, and has collaborated with renowned artists like Olly Murs and Moby, contributing to chart-topping albums and live performances worldwide.

Lenny Whitehall
Senior Lecturer
Lenny brings extensive real-world experience from filming in challenging environments for major broadcasters. With clients like the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery Channel, Sky, and National Geographic, she bridges industry and academia, having taught at institutions like Central Film School and the UAL, London.

Nick Eade
Senior Lecturer
Nick’s background is event management with an emphasis on safety and welfare. He’s worked with major industry specialists with hands-on involvement in events like Roskilde Festival, Notting Hill Carnival, and the 2012 London Olympics. With over two decades of experience spanning 17 universities globally, his expertise extend to publishing and contributing to industry magazines and journals.

Ian Sillett
Senior Lecturer
Ian’s an experienced musician, educator, and mentor. He specialises in shaping songwriting programs at esteemed institutions, and his talents extend to composition and arrangement for Atlantic Pictures. Ian’s career highlights include collaborating with icons like Sir Paul McCartney, Nigel Kennedy, and Melanie C, and his influence extends to nurturing talents like James Bay, Tom Odell, and more.

Lynsey McCall
Student Services Manager
Lynsey has been working in the arts and education sectors for 15 years, having made significant contributions to the arts charity, Wac Arts, and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Drawing on her passion for vocational training and hands-on learning, she aims to ensure students receive effective, engaging training and a fulfilling university experience.
