This Esports UAL college course will give you all the key knowledge you need to start your career in the Esports industry. 

Using our specialist facilities, you’ll learn about live streaming, using the same industry standard broadcast technologies used for esports tournaments worldwide.

You’ll learn:

  • The background on the world of esports
  • Analytical skills and strategies used by shoutcasters, athletes, teams and coaches
  • How businesses within esports operate and how you can develop the future of the scene
  • Core games design theory associated with competitive gaming 
  • The importance of health, wellbeing and fitness for esports athletes
  • How to host and engage with esports events in a range of different roles

This course is for you if:

  • you enjoy competitive gaming 
  • you have a passion for esports 
  • you are good at strategising and analysing

The Level 3 UAL Extended Diploma is a full time two-year course of study which will develop specialist knowledge, practical skills and understanding within a vocational area and will give you a qualification that is the equivalent to three A Levels. In most subjects, students will be awarded the UAL Extended Diploma at the end of their two years of study. The Extended Diploma is fully recognised by universities and carries UCAS points, enabling you to progress to university or directly into employment. If you want to commit to vocational study in a particular area, then this could be the route for you.

  • A basic understanding of and passion for the esports industry

Depending on your prior English and Maths attainment, you may need to improve your grade as part of your course.
