The much anticipated Fallout 4 video game was released on the 10th of November across the UK. Level 3 Game Art student Rowan Unsworth used her talent and skills to surprise customers at the GAME store midnight launch event in Long Eaton. Knowing her study field, the store manager asked Rowan to help with the art project: ‘It is made out of old cardboard boxes stacked on top of each other, which we then spray painted and dry brushed with a metallic paint in order to create a more worn look. Confetti are proud to announce we will once again have a stage at this year’s Splendour Festival following the huge success of last summer’s celebration in Wollaton Park. Confetti students and staff will be among thousands due to attend this year’s Splendour on Saturday 18th July. Our students are preparing to work around the clock to make sure the stages are set for some of the world’s biggest names in music including the likes of The Specials, Bananarama, Jess Glynne, Lawson and Roots Manuva. Punk-hop ranters Sleaford Mods are hitting up Rescue Rooms in Nottingham next Tuesday (27th Jan) before their appearance at Confetti’s Industry Week, and we’ve just heard that rising stars Kagoule will be supporting them too! That gives the already sold-out crowd the perfect combination of indie rock, grunge and punk hip-hop. Hurrah!
