Adrian Bushby to teach mixing masterclass for Confetti students

Two time Grammy Award winning music producer, Adrian Bushby, will be hosting an online mixing masterclass for Confetti students on Friday May 20.

 

Well known for his work with Muse, Foo Fighters and The Darkness; Adrian will be guiding students through the process of mixing a song from scratch. Attendees will benefit from Adrian’s years of experience mixing and producing tracks for internationally famed artists. Amongst the many topics that will be covered throughout the lesson will be be project arrangement, equalisations, how to effectively use compression, and several unique tips and tricks Adrian uses in his own mixes.

 

In case you missed it, Adrian visited the Confetti campus back in March 22 to take part in a production and recording session for our BSc (Hons) Audio and Music Technology studentsStudents worked alongside the award winning producer to record a rock track performed by our Music Performance students in Studio 1. With the recording now complete, Adrian will return to the project and guide attendees of the session through the mixing process.

To enter, all you need to do is have a go at mixing the track from Adrian’s session and submit it as a WAV file to john.meredith@confetti.ac.uk by Friday 27 May.
