Confetti students can get free tickets to see the Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports Winter Finals on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 December. Read on to learn about this year’s event and how to secure tickets.
Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports is a collegiate esports partnership, that exists across Europe, Latin America and North Africa. The UK and Ireland tournaments are organised and delivered by our friends at NUEL, in partnership with global technology company, GGTech.
The Winter Finals follow 7 weeks of fierce competition, in which university teams competed in popular esports games, Rocket League, League of Legends, and VALORANT.
Finalists will compete for prizes pool worth hundreds of pounds and the winners will go on to represent Great Britain in the prestigious pan-European Amazon UNIVERSITY Esports Masters tournament in 2023!
Here’s the schedule:
Friday 9 December – Rocket League lower bracket final (UEA BlueJays vs Roehampton Monstershop) and Grand Final (Warwick Williams Resolve vs Lower Bracket Final Winners)
Saturday 10 December – League of Legends and VALORANT Grand Finals (teams TBC)

Ever wondered what esports is all about, but too afraid to ask? Here’s your chance!
- Watch the Teams compete and the action play out on the big screen in Confetti X! With the top university teams from around the UK and Ireland taking part, Not to mention the host and casters doing their thing, it makes for a really great atmosphere.
- Get to know the NUEL team – who have over a decade of experience in organising esports events and activities and are always keen to help people who are looking to make a start in esports. Staff present at the event will range from league operations and broadcast to marketing and commercial.
- Participate! – throughout the event there will be interactive elements and crowd activities, with an opportunity to win exclusive tournament merchandise.
