From Friday 13 November to Sunday 22 November, Nottingham Poetry Festival will take place online, with free tickets for all.

Nottingham Poetry Festival is back this November, with a twist. We may be entering a second national lockdown, but the show will go on!

As Metronome cannot hold live events with audiences due to the lockdown, this festival is moving online with all events being live streamed so you can watch from home.

Not only will it be live streamed, it will also be FREE for everyone. What’s not to like?

This will be the fifth year that Nottingham Poetry Festival will shine a spotlight on the city’s thriving literary scene. You’ll be able to watch the incredible talent of Lemn SissayVanessa KisuuleAnthony Anaxagorou and Henry Normal, plus attend workshops, panels and more.

If you love all things spoken word, this will be your kind of festival!

Watch national treasure Lemn Sissay – poet of the London 2012 Olympics – in action to get a flavour for the kinds of performances you could be watching…

Check out the Nottingham Poetry Festival website to find out more about all of the events, how to stream them at home, and to grab your free tickets.
