COVID-19 Restrictions in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire – National Lockdown

Confetti exterior

The UK will be placed into a national lockdown from midnight on Thursday 5 November to reduce the transmission of coronavirus.

The national lockdown will come into force at one minute past midnight on Thursday 5 November and will last until Wednesday 2 December pending further reviews.

Full details of what this lockdown’s restrictions mean can be found on the gov.uk website, which indicates that currently universities, colleges and schools have been advised to remain open.

We are waiting for further guidance from the Department for Education on exactly what this may require us to do, but in the meantime Confetti’s campus and spaces are COVID-19 secure and we continue to offer a blend of online and face-to-face teaching.

All students will be contacted by email on Wednesday 4 November to set out how Confetti will operate between 5 November and 2 December. Until then, current timetables continue.

Students travelling to and from Confetti are able to continue doing so but are urged to take care and abide by the safer travel guidance for passengers. Travel information for Nottingham can be found here.

Before beginning your journey we recommend checking for updates from your local travel provider in case or any revisions to timetables.
