Confetti is set to become a leading force in contemporary music education with the creation of our new home for music and live events in Nottingham.

We’re working on transforming the ground-floor of the Marco Island building in Nottingham into a contemporary music and events education hub which will include music studios, rehearsal rooms, sound recording and editing suites, social spaces and a 300-capacity auditorium.

This means that if you’ve accepted an offer to study on both our college-level and degree courses in Music Performance, Music Technology and Live and Technical Events production you’ll learn in some of the finest studios in Europe!

Designed by world renowned acoustic architects White Mark Ltd. the Music & Events hub will include:

  • 14 rehearsal spaces
  • 5 recording studios
  • 300 capacity live event venue
  • Critical listening seminar room
  • Live events production workspace
  • Mastering, surround sound and post-production studio

Studio 2

On Monday 29 January, we opened the first studio in our Contemporary Music & Live Events Hub – Studio 2 – and welcomed the first lot of students in.

The studio features a hybrid analog/digital setup and includes custom Exigy monitors in the mainfield along with PMC Twotwo.6 in the nearfield. We went in the rooms before anyone else did and captured it all for you to see!

Check out a 360 image of the control room below:

The Contemporary Music Hub will give our students the opportunity to develop their skills in brand new, industry-standard facilities giving them the head start they need to pursue their creative career.

Not a current student and want to be part of it all? Visit our next open day and apply for a Confetti College or Degree course now!
