Our brand new facility has been almost two years in the making and today we welcome our creative technology students into their new place of study. With contemporary classrooms, new computer suites, a fantastic learning resource centre and spacious café – the five storey Confetti building is the heart of our Creative Quarter Campus.
What’s inside?
Reception
The main entrance is via the new reception on the corner of Convent Street and Parliament Street. From there you can access what was the former Confetti college area and Higher Education centre via stairways and the lift.
The ground floor is home to several classrooms and our Student Services Team. They operate an open door policy from Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 17:00. Find out more about what they can help you with if you’re a college student or a degree student.
Brand new student café
Head up the stairs into our brand new café area – offering a range of hot and cold meals and comfortable seating with street views. Those in a hurry can make use of our new “Grab and Go” facility. There is also a quiet area, for those wanting a more peaceful lunch.
Learning Resource Centre
On the second floor you’ll find our expanded learning resource centre – a comfortable, well-equipped and quiet space to do some studying or work on a personal project in between lessons.
Floors three to five are a mix of classrooms and seminar rooms and the fifth floor has a garden terrace. Not to be outdone, on the sixth and final floor is the roof-top garden.
