Supporting Confetti graduates

Tuesday July 4, 2023

Our support doesn’t end when you graduate. We want to let you know about what’s available to you after graduation to help you achieve your career goals, and provide you with all the help you need as you begin your career in industry.

Graduate Business Support: DECEM Programme

Confetti/NTU graduates are eligible for a free 24-month programme designed to help you launch or grow a successful business. Whether you already have a business and want to take it to the next level, or you’re interested in starting a new business venture, this programme is perfect for supporting you through your professional journey in a way that works for you.

How will the programme benefit you?

The DECEM programme will give you access to a state-of-the-art office space in The Dryden Enterprise Centre with fully-serviced facilities – a professional environment, ideal for planning and growing your own business.

You will be supported by an experienced team of coaches, including entrepreneurs and investment mentors, offering you professional advice to help you bring your business goals to life. With a wide range of tailored workshops and training available, you will receive guidance on how to tackle challenges and reach your full potential as an entrepreneur.

The programme also provides valuable networking opportunities, allowing you to connect with other industry leaders who could open the door to more possibilities for your business. Finally, you will be given information about funding, ensuring you have all the knowledge necessary to make your business idea a reality.

Did you know it’s not only our recent graduates who can take advantage of this huge opportunity? The DECEM programme is available to all Confetti and NTU graduates, within 5 years of your graduation.

Here’s what successful entrepreneurs, Jeneé and Zach, had to say about their DECEM experience:

“I applied to DECEM as I had a concrete business idea but wanted the support and mentorship to bring it to fruition. I knew that the people and resources at NTU Enterprise and the DEC would be invaluable in helping me realise my goals.” – Jeneé Gardner, NTU Graduate

“Having a flexi-desk and being next to Franek who is also on DECEM has been invaluable. He has helped me with Adobe XD, plus designing websites and adverts.

“Similarly, having my desk next to established business owners who are friendly and open to talk to me all the time – people like Paul & Mangit – have really helped me finetune what my business is, how to grow it, reduce risk, and ensure it’s successful.” – Zach Persell, Founder of Perselling (Vintage Clotheswear)
