We’re excited to announce a brand new OnDemand service that will be available during Industry Week 2021!
As Industry Week 2021 moves online, we’ve introduced a brand new OnDemand service which will be available for the first time. It will be bringing you exciting content from previous Industry Weeks, as well as footage from other events our students have worked on, such as BBC Introducing.
The service will go live on Monday 8 March and the talks will be available to watch again the following day. To access them login using your Confetti details.
This year’s Industry Week will host some incredible guests, including Twitch’s director of Student and Education Programs, Mark “Garvey” Candella. He’ll be giving a truly inspiring talk in how to develop you, for both your future and the future for the creative industries through the platform of Twitch.
We’ll also be welcoming record producer, mixer, engineer, and author, Sylvia Massy. Never one to look at the picture in an obvious way, she’ll be talking about what it’s like to work with Tool, Prince, Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rick Rubin, and you may even find out what a piano sounds like when it’s pushed off a cliff.
Ed Sheeran’s Front Of House engineer Chris Marsh will be talking about touring at the highest level. Having also worked with the likes of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Prince and Andrea Bocelli, he has a wealth of experience in the music industry that he’ll be sharing with our students.
