BSc (Hons) Film Production graduate Victoria Ralph has recently secured a role as a production runner, for post-production house The Farm Group (The Jonathan Ross Show, Clarkson’s Farm, Dragon’s Den).
As part of the production runner team, Victoria will be the face of the company, greeting clients prior to meetings and editing sessions, supporting events and ensuring that everything runs smoothly on a daily basis.
Victoria cites her time at Confetti as being a significant contributor to her securing the role. “I’m so grateful for my time at Confetti, and all the support I received whilst attending…The Industry Practice module helped be a massive amount, not only did it push me out of my comfort zone, it added a great deal of work experience to my CV. I was able to leave university feeling confident about the work I had produced and the experience I gained from working with clients in Nottingham.”
“If I could give any students advice it would be to take any work experience you can. This industry is all about who you know and networking. The best possible way to get yourself out there is to show you are driven, you have an open mind and most of all you are willing to learn.”
