Remembrance

Remembrance unites us across different faiths, cultures and backgrounds to remember the service and sacrifice of the Armed Forces community from Britain and the Commonwealth.

From peacekeeping missions to supporting the UK’s response to Covid-19, our Armed Forces perform incredible tasks every day.

In the build up to Remembrance Sunday, on Friday 11 November we will mark Armistice Day with a two-minute silence at 11am. We support staff and students who would like to wear a poppy in honour of those who have served and continue to defend our democratic freedoms and way of life.

From making a donation, to getting involved in activities, and visiting the Remembrance Glade at the National Memorial Arboretum, find out more about Remembrance and how you can get involved on the Royal British Legion website.
