Once again, we’ll be welcoming award-winning actors, animation directors, VFX specialists, musicians, sound engineers, game designers, artists and leaders from the world of esports for our 16th annual Confetti Industry Week!

Here’s a flavour of our stellar line-up….

Linda Perry

Beginning her musical journey as the lead singer of 4 Non Blondes, Linda Perry has had a profound impact on pop culture through her work as a producer and songwriter.

Her resounding influence on female empowerment resonates through her sincere artistry, which has helped shape the sounds of musicians such as P!nk, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, and Adele.

Perry was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2015 as a testament to her status as a musical icon, and has gone on to establish Los Angeles-based artist empowered label/management/publishing collective, We Are Hear.

JD Wu

Flying in from the US for IW22, get your questions answered by joining a Q&A about all things broadcast.

Listen, learn and be inspired to find what your next steps could be in working in esports production. Follow this up by witnessing a production masterclass with JD accompanied by Kevin Cheung, as he shares his tips and tricks about working in a professional esports and sports broadcast production. If you’re chosen, you’ll have the opportunity to operate some of the tech as part of the broadcast.

JD Wu is an avid gamer who got his start as a professional League of Legends player.

Victor Perez

An award-winning filmmaker and visual effects artist, Victor Perez has racked up some impressive film credits including Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Inspired by Star Wars as a child, Victor’s first job was as a graphic designer before beginning a career in the film industry as a photographer and digital compositing artist, then 2D technical director and consultant.

Considered a visual effects compositing master and NUKE™ guru, he now designs and oversees the creation of feature film visual effects as VFX Supervisor. He is also the writer/director of two short films, receiving more than 27 awards and nominations for his debut Another Love.

We’ll be adding to our brilliant Industry Week line-up over the coming weeks, so stay tuned with us on TwitterFacebook and Instagram.
