Confetti students and staff were among the thousands who attended this weekend’s Splendour festival at Wollaton Park. Confetti students weren’t just soaking up the atmosphere, they were making the entire festival happen.
Our students were working around the clock to make sure stages were set and some of the world’s biggest names in music were ready to grace the stage.
For the first time, Confetti had its own stage. headlined by none other that Sir Bob Geldof and his band, The Boomtown Rats. Reverend and the Makers, The Rifles and Amber Run also performed on the Confetti stage to a crowd of thousands.
Darren Harding, course leader for Music Technology- Technical Events, said: “Our students worked to industry-standard, making sure everything was perfect on the day. It’s not every college that offers students an opportunity to get real life experience at such a big festival”
