On the heels of an initial announcement several weeks back, the final lineup for the festival has officially been released and there’s a lot for music fans to look forward to, including five artists currently studying a music degree right here at Confetti. The students will be joining the likes of Razorlight, Craig David and Confetti Industry Week guest, Becky Hill.
Drive Through Hazy
The BA (Hons) Music Performance students are currently working hard in the studio on this year’s Confetti Single and will no doubt be performing the bop for the masses at the festival. Originally from Norwich, the electronic indie-pop duo are relatively new project but they’ve hit the ground running and currently have an EP slated for release later this this – Hopefully just in time for Splendour!
Marvin’s Revenge
Humorously self-titled as the fourth-best band in Wirksworth, Derbyshire, Ollie, Job, and Luke make up the three-piece outfit that is Marvin’s Revenge. Comprised of a single guitarist, a bass, and a drummer who hits harder than Thor’s hammer, their sound is unique. The riffs and melodies are catchy and will get stuck in your head for days but in-between there’s a heavier side to the band that creeps up on you and attacks when you least expect it. The band’s members are currently studying on our BA (Hons) Music Performance and BSc (Hons) Audio and Music Technology courses. After cruising to victory at the Confetti X NTU Battle of the Bands gig, Marvin’s Revenge are one to watch.
Left Hand Lane

Gigging constantly up and down the country, the band have cut their teeth in the underground and are now looking forwards to a big, loud future.
