The Confetti Arrows: Confetti College Esports Team

Our very own esports team – the Confetti Arrows

If you’re looking to join a college with a top Esports team – look no further.

The team competes in all four of the British Esports Federation’s Student Championships tournaments – Overwatch 2, Rocket League, Apex Legends and Valorant. Previously competing in F1, League of Legends and EAFC.

What games are played? Have they won any titles?

The Confetti Arrows have won titles for Women in Esports Overwatch and have been finalists multiple times for Overwatch 2.

Try-outs are held twice a year in September and January and are open to all students on any Level 3 course here at Confetti.

Being part of the Confetti Arrows offers a chance to work beside industry experts, go on exciting trips and make new friends.

Have the Confetti Arrows been on any trips?

Our team have been to the F1 facility tour and LAN finals. We were also invited to stay over at Sunderland BEF Gaming House as a guest team and and had access to their state-of-the-art facilities alongside professional coaching and fun experience for players.

As a member of The Confetti Arrows, you learn a variety of skills including:

What is the impact of being a part of the Confetti Arrows?

  • Students are able to join teams and compete with other colleges across the country in a safe, welcoming, competitive environment.
  • Students get a taste of being a professional player in Esports. Participating in various environments from the scrim rooms to a live audience Esports Arena (e.g. Confetti X)
  • Students are motivated to uphold Confetti values (Attendance, Punctuality, Submissions, Behaviour) to stay on Arrows Teams.
  • Students gain teamwork, communication and other valuable interpersonal skills alongside improving as an Esports Athlete.
  • Connecting students from a range of FE courses, creating a friendly, fun and creative community.
  • Additional opportunities with interactions between industry professionals, tournament / production opportunities and trips.
