Confetti alumni Cameron Furnival-Watling recently came in to talk with current BSc (Hons) Film Production Technology students about his experiences within the industry since graduating in 2021.
The session started with a Q&A, he spoke of the amount of competition and the importance of taking all the work that you can get to build up a portfolio and improve skills. Cameron has had an incredible start to his career, since graduating he has already worked on global productions; including being a Camera Trainee for the upcoming Mission: Impossible film, “Dead Reckoning – Part One” and as a Zcam technician for the new Marvel TV series – Secret Invasion starring Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn . There are countless more productions Cameron’s been working on, which he isn’t allowed to discuss, and so let your imagination fill in those gaps
Our current BSc (Hons) Film Production Technology students, got hands on with some equipment that Cameron has used on set including: ZOLAR Vega 30C LED Lights, ZCAM E2-F6 and Apo Mini Vintage Series Lenses. All top of the range equipment, that will be valuable experience to all our aspiring students.
