Nathan Flynn – Audio and Music Technology student:

“It was the first one I watched and I was so impressed by the amount of effort that had gone in his introduction video and his reasoning why he as one the course and why he would like to be involved in the scholarship. His track was clever and atmospheric and met the brief he set himself in the videos”.

Ben BlackadderAudio and Music Technology student

“Great run through and explanation that he’s gone from 0-100mph really quickly in his production. Great glitchy tune too”.

Lucy Crisp – Music Performance student

“Lucy is VERY passionate about what she’s doing. It’s clear she’s got a bit of a plan for herself and her enthusiasm for her learning shines through”.

James Harris – Audio and Music Technology student

“Great tune and his intro video and track explanation merged really well into his tune which built well throughout. Very passionate about where his roots are and what’s led him to doing the course he’s doing”.

Scholarship winner, Lucy Crisp said:

“I am over the moon to be one of the first ever acceptants of the Focusrite Scholarship at Confetti. I’ve always highly valued what the degree course provides and just being able to showcase my work to the judges was an amazing opportunity to demonstrate my capabilities as a female solo artist in the music industry. I cannot wait to develop my creativity even further and create some amazing music using the technology!”.
