Our Confetti students have been taking our ‘Do It For Real’ ethos seriously by getting hands on with industry workshops and live events this term. From industry giants Avolites to BBC Introducing they’ve been getting valuable lessons to level up their future careers.
Thank you Avolites for the fantastic training at your London HQ and on our Nottingham campus. Our first year students loved exploring lighting technology and Avolites desks in depth. A special thanks to David Bishop and the team at Strictly Come Dancing for an inspiring backstage tour, and to our friends at Robe NRG for making it happen.
Next up our Event Production student, Charlie, got hands on front of house work experience with the BBC Concert Orchestra, a great learning experience with our friends at the BBC Concert Orchestra.
CX open went off without a hitch! A great hands on experience for our esports specialists to get involved with potential students, giving access all areas to provide knowledge, even before you start at Confetti.
Our Event Production students got exclusive training from Allen & Heath. With expert guidance, our students got the inside scoop from the industry professionals and explored professional audio equipment which punk band Fontaines D.C used on their US tour.
Our students ran the show at BBC Introducing. From artist liaison, getting hands on with professional lighting and tech equipment, to performing on stage.
Want to know what it’s like to run a BBC Introducing gig? Our students are giving you the inside scoop. As they share their experience and what they’ve learnt from this opportunity.
Opportunities like this don’t come around too often, but at Confetti, they do, and that’s just how we teach.
