Q&A Opportunities at the Screening of ‘Norfolk’

The post & film production company Spool, our sister company, was involved in the audio post production for the film ‘Norfolk’ which will be screening at Broadway Cinema on Thursday 29 September. Matt Burrows – a Music Technology graduate and student of the year two years ago, worked on the post production as a sound effects editor as part of the Spool team.

Check out the video below with Matt as he talks about his roles at Spool.

There will also be a Q&A with the producer, Rachel Dargavel so if you’re studying or interested in TV & Film, this is a chance to gain valuable knowledge from within the industry.

Norfolk Film

What’s Norfolk about?

The film is haunting and atmospheric, driven by a broodingly intense performance by Denis Menochet as a tough-love father whose strong relationship with his teenage son is tested when the boy befriends a girl. The film’s Norfolk backdrop veers between pastoral beauty and a sense of desolation, which emphasises an almost post-apocalyptic moon.

After the film the Q&A session with Rachel will give students the chance to ask questions and to gain an insight into the production of a film – a great chance for Film & TV students to learn new skills and techniques!

The great news is this film will be showing on the day of FRESH as part of the Broad Street Takeover, so all HE students will be able to watch the film for half price (£3.50 per person)!
