We’ve developed our facilities
We’re constantly making sure our students are studying in the best facilities, packed with the latest industry standard equipment. Last year we opened both the Digital Media Hub, and our contemporary music hub – Metronome – which is a national venue for music, film, videogames, comedy and much more, putting Nottingham even more firmly on the map for live performance spaces.
The new home for Music & Events at Confetti opened in October 2018, giving students the opportunity to develop their skills in brand new, industry-standard facilities giving them the head start they need to stand out in industry.
Designed by world renowned acoustic architects White Mark Ltd. the Music & Events hub houses:
- 14 rehearsal spaces
- 5 recording studios
- 300 capacity live event venue
- Critical listening seminar room
- Live events production workspace
- Mastering, surround sound and post-production studio
Our new £9.1m Digital Media Hub opened in September 2018 and features state-of-the-art studios, labs and classrooms, a Learning Resource Centre, a contemporary cafe and a rooftop terrace. The hub provides a fantastic opportunity for students to kick-start their creative careers, learning in brand new industry-standard facilities.
