Students CELEBRATE the end of the year at Confetti Summer Festival

As the final days of college have started, the students of Confetti will have the last chance to mingle with their tutors and co-learners this year at the Confetti Summer Festival tomorrow evening. The students are invited to Nottingham Rescue Rooms for live music, good summer food and the Celebrate Awards, where nominees have been put forward for student of the year in 7 categories. The nominees are as follows:

Student of the Year – Level 3 TV & Film: Simon Ward, Gemma Rowe, Kate Harding

Student of the Year – Level 1 Introduction of Creative Technologies: Laura Roettig, Ryan St Pierre Wood

Student of the Year  – Level 3 Games Development: Rhiannne Murphy, Neil Tully, William Gray

Student of the Year – Level 3 Music Technologies Urban & Electronic: Samir Aslam, Allen Namhera, Charlotte Mellor

Student of the Year  – Level 3 Music Technologies Rock & Live: Joe Newham, Jess Sandome, Mark Lancaster

Student of the Year – Level 2 Music Technologies: Sinead Blair, John McAdam, Nikki Rynne

The event will start at 3pm and finish at 10pm. The line-up of bands includes The AfterDark Movement, Brad Dear, Sort It Out, Raynor Jackson and Jesse Breame. There will also be a Caribbean BBQ available throughout the evening. Tickets are on sale now from Confetti reception and will also be available on the doors at £3 which includes a free drink on arrival!
