It’s been the best Industry Week yet here at Confetti, and some of the posts on social media have been inspiring, hilarious and interesting. Check out what students have been posting about below…
One student’s slightly spooky use of our selfie frame…
But it looks like our selfie frames are not ‘one size fits all’…
Ella was thrilled to meet Cel Spellman after he’d had such an influence in her life.

So....this happened today. And it was all thanks to my college. It's actually so surreal that I've finally met Cel because he was a big part of my childhood (as well as everyone else on Friday download)! I'm not gonna lie I was kinda freaking out at first when he came into the room (thanks @mollymay29 and @billiebulling for calming me down 😂😂), but I felt so much better afterwards. And he signed my lanyard so that made my day even better. Thank you so much Cel for coming in today and taking the time to meet us all at the end. And thanks to my college for making this day happen - Ella 💜💜
It’s great to see that Nate was so inspired by Neil Gortz’ talk.
Was an absolute pleasure listening, meeting and speaking to @NeilGortz. It's enjoyable seeing the perspective of somebody who doesn't directly work on the development of games, but to instead see someone who deals with the social part of the video games industry. #IW19— Nate (@nathan_ball2000) March 4, 2019
It’s safe to say that Henry Normal was this week’s biggest entertainer!
We’re sorry Industry Week isn’t longer – but there’s always next year…
We agree – Deborah Haywood’s talk was seriously inspiring. Let’s hope she comes back in future years!
Games, drinks and spending time with your friends. What’s not to like?
We were really impressed by this beautiful photo of our IW19 sign!
Students live-streamed an incredible fundraising effort for Rainbows Hospice at the GameJam. Well done to all involved!
