From 11–17 May, Confetti College hosted a range of activities to support Mental Health Awareness Week, encouraging students to take time for themselves, connect with others and explore different ways to support their wellbeing.
The week included creative sessions such as an Art Swap and mood-board workshop, giving students space to express themselves, alongside fun social activities like a pop quiz and a ‘Green’ scavenger hunt running across the campus.
Students also had the chance to learn more about mental health through sessions led by Change Grow Live (CGL) and the Mental Health Support Team (MHST), which explored topics including substance use, positive mental health and managing exam stress. A calming sensory session also provided a quiet space to pause and reflect.
A highlight of the week was a visit to Stonebridge City Farm, where students spent time outdoors and engaged with animals offering a relaxing break from college life and a chance to recharge in nature.
To bring the college community together, staff and students took part in ‘Wear it Green’, showing visible support for mental health awareness across campus.
Overall, the week was a positive reminder of the many ways students can support their own wellbeing throughout the year.
