Circle of Light and Hockley Hustle team up for online concert

Tuesday March 31, 2020

‘Light Hustle’ – a collaboration between the Youth Music-funded project Circle of Light and Nottingham’s Hockley Hustle – was due to take place on Saturday 4 April, but this plan has changed to something pretty cool…

The event will now be going ahead as an all-day digital live stream festival with the backing of the Nottingham music community including Jake Bugg, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, Adam Peter Smith, Alfie Sharp, Alice Robbins, Daudi Matsiko, Laurie Illingworth, Natalie Duncan, Nina Smith, Rob Green and Circle of Light artists.

Other contributions will come from the influential and legendary hip hop MC and Circle of Light lead mentor Scor-zay-zee and Left Lion editor-at-large Bridie Squires.

The gig will be live-streamed in aid of launching the Emergency Hardship Fund for Youth Music. This is being put in place to help support the city and county’s creative freelancers including Nottinghamshire’s community of musicians, sound engineers, promoters and others.

How do I watch the live stream?

To watch the concert, you can head to Hockley Hustle or Circle of Light‘s Facebook pages.

The show will be live-streamed on both of these pages!

So sit back, relax and enjoy!
