I’ve been studying at Confetti for three year and have just completed the BSc Games Production top up. The top up degree was definitely the right choice as it allowed me to further develop my existing knowledge and learn additional skills.
I got great support from the lecturers and the Additional Learning Support team. They helped me throughout the year to ensure any problems were addressed quickly and overall made me feel welcome and were very vocal and supportive which made Confetti a unique experience.
Alex’s Degree Showcase Work
For my final project I created a virtual environment that looked realistic and was as close to a reference image as possible. I used real life reference including photographs and measurements to create my work.
I chose to model The National Videogame Arcade as it was a great opportunity to showcase the skills I had developed over the years and offered great opportunities to model assets such as arcade games, computers, posters etc to help get my model closer to the real life reference.
The Games Production teaching team push new industry standard software such the Quixel suite or encourage the use of Virtual Reality which really makes Confetti the place to be. You get to use industry standard software which can give you a huge advantage when looking for jobs in the industry.
