We’re still rated Ofsted ‘Good’!

Tuesday May 24, 2022

Following a recent inspection, we are delighted to announce that we’re still rated Ofsted ‘Good’!

At Confetti, our further education courses are delivered in collaboration with Access Creative College – a national training provider which offers creative courses in seven cities across the country.

Without Access, we would not be able to offer amazing college courses in Digital Media, Esports Production, Film & TV, Games, Live Events Production, Music Performance, Music Technology and Visual Effects and Animation.

That’s why it’s fantastic news that Access has yet again been awarded Ofsted’s ‘Good’ rating, grade 2 on their four-point scale.

Confetti had a big role to play in achieving this rating, as our courses make up over 25% of Access’ total provision. The result shows that our tutors and course leaders maintain the highest possible standards across quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. Let’s find out what Ofsted Inspectors had to say about our fantastic Confetti team members:

“They [Confetti] recruit many learners from socially disadvantaged backgrounds [and] work tirelessly to ensure that all learners, irrespective of background, develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours to thrive in the creative sectors. In so doing, they provide exciting opportunities for learners.”

“Teachers use their extensive skills and experience from industry to inform their teaching. They teach learners practical skills to high standards through clear explanation, demonstration, and repetition, so that the skills become automatic.”

“Learners benefit from the strong culture of mutual respect and understanding that leaders and managers have created. Learners have a deep understanding of equality and diversity, and many demonstrate this within their work. Learners feel safe at college and in the working environment.”

A massive thank you goes out to our Confetti tutors and course leaders for their dedication. To read the report, please visit the Ofsted website.
