We’re excited to announce that we will once again be a main sponsor of Nottingham’s favourite festival, Splendour! Confetti students are the new ‘voice of the network’
Nottingham City Transport has enlisted the help of our students to become the voices of its new on-board audio announcements. And it was their sense of humour as well as their vocal skills the city’s award-winning bus operator was after... With 75% of the buses across the fleet having on-board announcements – NCT have decided to add a touch of humour to their recordings. Confetti student creates artwork for Fallout 4 release
The much anticipated Fallout 4 video game was released on the 10th of November across the UK. Level 3 Game Art student Rowan Unsworth used her talent and skills to surprise customers at the GAME store midnight launch event in Long Eaton. Knowing her study field, the store manager asked Rowan to help with the art project: 'It is made out of old cardboard boxes stacked on top of each other, which we then spray painted and dry brushed with a metallic paint in order to create a more worn look. Confetti teams up with Splendour Festival 2015!
Confetti are proud to announce we will once again have a stage at this year’s Splendour Festival following the huge success of last summer’s celebration in Wollaton Park. Confetti students and staff will be among thousands due to attend this year’s Splendour on Saturday 18th July. Concluding an incredible Industry Week at Confetti, Professor Green took students through his music industry career, offering insights into his success and passing on the advice learned through his years as a musician. Stephen Paul Manderson, better known by his stage name Professor Green, is an English rapper and singer-songwriter. Kagoule to support Sleaford Mods at Rescue Rooms
Punk-hop ranters Sleaford Mods are hitting up Rescue Rooms in Nottingham next Tuesday (27th Jan) before their appearance at Confetti's Industry Week, and we've just heard that rising stars Kagoule will be supporting them too! That gives the already sold-out crowd the perfect combination of indie rock, grunge and punk hip-hop. Hurrah! Did you know chart toppers Philip George, Jake Bugg and Glastonbury performers Dog is Dead all have something in common? Confetti. What a week it has been for Ex-Confetti student and Nottingham DJ Philip George. The 21-year-old reached No.1 in the Official UK Dance Chart with his track 'Wish You Were Mine', a 90s house track that samples Stevie Wonder’s My Cherie Amour. However, that's not all. Confetti students and staff were among the thousands who attended this weekend's Splendour festival at Wollaton Park. Confetti students weren't just soaking up the atmosphere, they were making the entire festival happen. Our students were working around the clock to make sure stages were set and some of the world's biggest names in music were ready to grace the stage. Kagoule play at Glastonbury!  
Backed by BBC Introducing, Denzien artist Kagoule have been propelled into the spotlight.
