From the 2-6 March, Industry Week will be in full force – and some of our alumni are coming back to deliver great talks for students about their experiences since graduating.
Confetti’s mantra is ‘Do It For Real’, and each year we’re thrilled to invite back alumni to talk about the experiences they’ve had within the creative industries since graduating.
This year is no exception, with great panel talks scheduled for games, music and media students, where our alumni talk candidly about the exciting projects they’re working on, the realities of working in their industries and also the benefits they still feel from their Confetti studies now they’re in the world of work.

Music panel
Cate Grundy
Confetti graduate Cate co-owns Nottingham-based record label Phlexx Records, releasing music from local artists such as Do Nothing, Soft Girls & Boys Club, Megatrain and more. She also works as a rep for DHP, managing shows for Rock City and Rescue Rooms and helps with advancing Dot to Dot, Splendour and Beat The Streets festivals. Thanks to Confetti, Cate was able to get ‘a foot in the door’ and gain a full introduction into and knowledge of the local music scene and the greater industry.
MC Snowy
Midlands MC Snowy knows you don’t have to be within the M25 to lead the charge in UK rap. Not content to be contained within grime’s boundaries, the Nottingham spitter is ripping up the rap rulebook, lending his wild ad-libs and sharp lyricism to some of the coldest styles going. Snowy has been tipped by tastemakers like Complex and Huck, Gilles Peterson on his Future Bubblers program and has since caught the ears of Mike Skinner, Idris Elba and Lily Allen – even comedian Frankie Boyle’s a fan.

Magdalena Mojsiejuk
Maggie, is a Confetti BSc Games Production graduate and Student of the Year Award-winner of 2019. During her university life, she was involved with many projects across the NTU campuses. She was a student mentor in her second year, the lead student mentor for Confetti games, student ambassador, course representative and NTU Global Lounge assistant. After graduating she started her position as Junior Game Designer at Supermassive Games in Guildford where she has worked for the past seven months since graduating.
Rhianne Murphy
Rhianne is a narrative designer and previous level designer at Sumo Digital Sheffield. She also happens to be a Confetti graduate. For the last three years, she has been working on AAA titles alongside publishers such as Microsoft. She is a self-professed ‘tabletop nerd’ and lover of Dungeons and Dragons.
Media panel
Brian Githiomi
Brian Githiomi is a Freelance Production Assistant specialising in film and TV production, commercials and music videos. Since graduating from Confetti in July 2019, he has been part of productions like The Batman (in production), Redbull 3×3 basketball commercial and a few shows for the BBC. In between crew jobs, he does a lot of supporting artist/extra work, the most successful being a Havens holiday commercial, which featured in the cinema and on TV across the country. He’s also appeared as a supporting artist in The Crown season 4, Made in Chelsea Season 18, War Machine and Justice League.
Regan Perry
Regan studied a foundation degree in Film Production Technology at Confetti, before making a move down to London where he spent the best part of two months doing internships and work experience in multiple post-production companies in London. After this hard work, in August 2019 he received three job offers in the space of five days, before accepting a job as a runner at Freefolk in Soho, where he has continued to progress and now works within the transfer department.
