FdA Music Performance student BRIA’s first single The Strangest of Lovers is released today by Denizen. Described as “having a great voice with an intimate delivery of a heartfelt song” by the single’s producer Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode, Madness, Nick Cave) you can find details of how to buy the single on vinyl here and/or stream it here.
The single had its official launch on Wednesday 5 June at an event held at Metronome which was attended by a number of local industry names including Mark Del and Sam Nahirny of NUSIC, freelance music journalist Adam Humphreys and many more.
John Meredith – Music Curriculum Lead at Confetti – organised the event, and spoke about the process of putting the single together.
“I was so pleased with the reaction to the live launch of the single: the culmination of the hard work of industry professionals and students across multiple courses with the full force of Confetti’s staff and their expertise.”
Bria spoke about the experience of putting together and launching the single – “It has been the most amazing experience, from start to finish. Over the past six months I have met and worked with so many amazing and talented people, and I’ve learned so much. It’s all thanks to Confetti!”
You can watch the music video to The Strangest of Lovers on the Denizen YouTube channel on Monday 10 June at 9am.
