
It’s been a fantastic week at Confetti, as Industry Week 2026 brought together students, staff and creative professionals for an inspiring programme of talks, workshops, performances and hands‑on experiences.
Taking place from 2–6 March, the week gave students the chance to connect directly with industry, gain real‑world insight and explore future career pathways across the creative sectors.
Throughout the week, students heard from an exciting line‑up of industry guests who shared their journeys, advice and expertise. From music, games and film to design, esports and live events, speakers offered honest insight into creative careers, the realities of working in industry and the skills needed to succeed.

- Emmy Lupin, delving into bold visual identity creation within illustration and graphic design.
- JAYAHADADREAM, on building momentum as an independent music artist.
- ArtGoon, revealing the process behind artwork for top UK music acts.
- Ed Lilo, Latitude Festival’s Lead Talent Buyer, taking students inside artist booking and festival programming.
- Benjamin Arrowsuch, exploring how to transition from animation into a creative career.
- Linnett Kamala, discussing creative identity, experimentation, and persistence in her industry journey.
Alongside talks and panels, Industry Week 2026 placed a strong emphasis on practical learning. Students took part in workshops, masterclasses and live sessions designed to build confidence, develop technical skills and encourage creative experimentation. Events ranged from specialist production sessions and creative labs to behind‑the‑scenes industry insights and career‑focused guidance.
Live performances and showcases also played a key role, celebrating student talent and giving learners the opportunity to experience industry‑standard events in real time. These moments helped bring learning to life and demonstrated how classroom skills translate into professional practice.
