Confetti Film & TV Production students got to #DoItForReal this morning and it kicked off with a 3am start!
Early birds in Nottingham were left a bit shocked to see Old Market Square cordoned off, men with guns running around and a motorbike drive into the Nottingham Council House. Don’t worry though, it’s the filming for new action film Heart of Chaos, written and directed by local stunt man Adam Collins and co-directed by Confetti TV & Film Production tutor Luke Radford.
Adam, who was in the Royal Marines for 6 years before becoming a stuntman, explained that his experience is “where the idea came from to write a film. We’ve shot it on absolutely no budget so it’s been amazing to get all this done.” The money made from the film will go towards supporting veteran charities.
Luke has been rallying loads of Nottingham talent to get involved in the creation of Heart of Chaos including, of course, Confetti students! With help from everyone from actors to film and TV crew, even Nottingham grime artists, Heart of Chaos has been a real community project for the creative of Nottingham.
Big up to all of our students who got stuck in to help out on this wicked film, make sure you catch some z’s tonight!
