World famous musical family, the Kanneh-Masons, recently recorded their Christmas TV special at our live performance venue, Metronome. The show will see all seven siblings return home to Nottingham after a whirlwind few years of conquering the classical charts and touring across the globe.
The Kanneh-Masons are seven brothers and sisters, aged 12 to 25, who first shot to fame when six of the siblings reached the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2015. Following their appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, Sheku, the third eldest, became the first black artist to win BBC Young Musician of the Year and later played at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding. Our team over at Metronome were delighted that the superstars chose our venue to hold their special and we can’t wait to catch it on telly come Christmas Day!
“A Musical Family Christmas with the Kanneh-Masons” will air on BBC 2 on Christmas Day at 8.35pm. To find out more about the Kanneh-Mason’s journey to superstardom and their upcoming Christmas special, visit the BBC website.
