Audio and Music Technology

Would you like a career in the audio and music industry? If so, this industry-focused course will give you the professional, creative, intellectual and technical skills needed to succeed.

The audio and music technology industries provide a broad range of career prospects for graduates. You’ll explore subject areas that will develop your knowledge in the subject area with access to a range of specialist facilities, including industry-standard audio recording and production studios.

Music Performance

Develop yourself to become the best music creator you can be. This course is for active and passionate musicians and is designed to cultivate your continuing pursuit of excellence in your musical expression. It is a programme designed as a means of developing all areas of your craft and relating them directly to the industry in which you will find yourself. You’re given a platform to perform in our commercial venue Metronome for events such as Confetti Live and BBC Introducing.

Live & Technical Events

Interested in the technology that goes into live event production? Here at the Confetti, be inspired to start the first steps towards a career in live music, theatre, festivals or events in the UK or touring overseas.

Unlike most courses, your ‘classroom’ will be Metronome, a custom built 350-capacity live venue, and a 93m2 events production workshop space. Learn in a venue which will hold regular public events each week while being taught by well-connected industry professionals with extensive experience.
