A foundation degree gives you the option to start your career in the industry after two years, or continue onto the third year of the bachelor’s degree you’re studying. What option appeals to you more?

What type of degree should I apply for?
You should study on a foundation degree

Our foundation degrees are shorter degree courses which are roughly equivalent to two-thirds of an honours degree and can be completed in two years of full-time study. They’re widely recognised qualifications in their own right and can help you get the career you want in the creative industries. After the two years you have the option to continue onto the Bachelors degree, or start your career with the experience and knowledge you've gained. They are designed to be industry relevant and are endorsed by industry – offering you the opportunity to frame your practical experience alongside more academic aspects of the course.
You should study on a bachelor's degree

A three-year bachelor’s degree is a great choice if you’re looking to gain a full Level 6 qualification. With a higher UCAS tariff – this type of degree is perfect for you if you prefer a more theoretical approach to your studies combined with significant elements of practice. After graduating you’ll be able to progress onto a postgraduate course or start your creative career.
