Music Technology student Adam Wilde’s story
Adam Wilde is studying his top-up year of a three-year BSc (Hons) Audio and Music Technology course.
Would you recommend the course to someone thinking of studying?
Yes, highly. If I could give advice to future students, I’d say work hard and make use of the exceptional facilities. You won’t regret it!
How are the facilities at Confetti?
The facilities are fantastic! You’re spoilt with industry-standard hardware and software options with luxury facilities as a bonus. There’s a great-sounding, large live room, separate isolation booths, a mastering suite, a 24 track tape machine, vintage microphones, modular synthesizers, rehearsal rooms, bespoke acoustic treatment and so much more.
How is living in Nottingham as a student?
As a mature student, I’ve been really impressed with Nottingham. The city offers a buzzing scene of music, food, drink, festivals and events both on and off the radar. Small independent businesses play an integral role in generating the DIY atmosphere of the city, which also hosts its share of arena and mainstream events comparable to any major city.
